Humble beginnings

In 2007, we had started offering friends and family a weekly meditation night in the living room of our small apartment. What started as a small handful of people grew to 15-20 people, and we knew we needed to expand. A few years of teaching at Unity Minneapolis made it possible for us to grow into our first center called PranaPath in 2011.

In 2014, we (Jason and Samantha) moved to China to allow me to pursue my PhD in Chinese Medicine. This allowed us to teach Pranic Healing in the research department in the Tianjin TCM Hospital, and help bring Pranic Healing to Mongolia for the first time. By 2017, it was time for another expansion. PranaPath was closed, and the search for a new space unfolded. We opened Atma Wellness in Robbinsdale in 2018, but unfortunately had to close our doors during the 2020 Covid pandemic. We continued to offer free meditations online.

We relocated at the end of 2019 to Rochester, MN. We have felt from the beginning that with all the medical healing in “Med City”, the one thing we felt was missing was easy-access to holistic healing and spirituality in a secular model.

The heart of Atma Healing Arts is based in the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, who advocated that compassion is viewed as the highest virtue of all. No one should be turned away because of their inability to afford healthcare, which is why we work with everyone in the community to meet them where they are at.

If you walk into our center full of stress, pain, sleep deprivation- you name it, you have a strong chance of walking out decompressed, invigorated, and rejuvenated. Between meditation, movement and yoga, or mindful art classes... we've got you covered.

Welcome to your new home away from home.
